The governing body of the Alliance for Christian Education is made up of a dedicated and committed Board of Directors. Our board helps guide the individual Councils and its members. Each Council is served by people who are passionate, gifted, and feel called by God to serve in that particular area of interest. Our Councils include the following:
Prayer Council
Our desire is to always put Jesus Christ first and to honor Him in all that we do. Our Prayer Council plays a vital role in this. We place preeminence on prayer within all the activities the Alliance engages in.
Pre-K through 8th Grade Council & High School Council
The Alliance seeks insight from educators concerning where we can offer support. The purpose of these councils is to teach us how we can serve the children and the educators. If a specific educational need is currently not available, for example a Christian High School, the Alliance will work in conjunction with the greater Christian community to help evaluate the needs and establish an appropriate answer to fill that void.
Marketing Council & Public Relations Council
Our Marketing and Public Relations Council work to get out the positive message of Christian Education in a consistent manner. We established the Alliance for Christian Education website, www.AllianceforChristianEducation.org, to help communities and Christians understand the benefits of Christian Education, as well as provide resources to the parents and educators. Ongoing advertising, sponsored by the Alliance, helps to promote the existing Christian educational institutions within the community.
Church and Community Outreach Council
Our Church and Community Outreach Council works on the grass roots level to bring awareness for the Alliance in a cooperative manner with our supporters. We strive to learn of the needs regarding Christian education from the community and hope to bring an outlet to those who desire to get involved and support this mission.
Extra-Curricular Council
This council works to offer and provide positive alternatives for youth in after school activities. Be it skateboarding events, bands, paintball wars or other activities the goal is the same; opportunities for Christians and non-Christians to have fun and fellowship in a safe environment with adult Christian supervision while encouraging their development.
Development Council
The Development council works to foster personal relationships with those involved and to help develop a committed support membership that adds value to those in need and those involved.
